What is Nail Fungus?

Nail Fungus

Toenail fungus and fingernail fungus are both very common.  Also known as tinea of the nails, this fungus is made up of living organisms that thrive in the damp and completely dark environment existing inside shoes and socks.  Therefore, toenail fungus is more common than fingernail fungus.  Affected nails usually turn yellow or brown.  They can be thick.  They can be brittle.  At times some nails shed layers or crumble around their edges.  Almost all toenail fungus is ugly, painful and embarrassing.  Some people have not worn sandals or open-toed shoes for years because they do not want others to see their feet.  Unfortunately, secreting feet in the aforementioned damp and dark environment only makes the situation worse. In an even more ironic twist, the toenail itself tends to protect the fungus by covering it with a safe hard shell.  A thick layer keratinous gunk is usually found beneath the free edge of the fungus-infected nails. Nail Fungus Treatment

Nail Fungus TreatmentTinea can also affect skin.  A thin layer of Healing Leaf LLC’s No Fungus Among Us® applied to those areas is almost always effective.  However, skin fungus can become serious rather quickly so it is always a good idea to see a doctor.

Healing Leaf LLC’s No Fungus Among Us®, when applied faithfully twice a day, will eradicate toenail or fingernail fungus and allow sufferers to get back to normal, unself-conscious living.

Other Tinea funguses include athlete’s foot and ringworm.  Healing Leaf LLC DOES have products for these fungus conditions:  for athlete’s foot we have Fire Out! ®, and for ringworm we have Ring Worm Bullet®.
